Join the ICF Health and Wellness Coaching Community of Practice and Annalise Evenson, PCC, as we dive into the benefits of group wellness coaching. Annalise is PCC ICF coach and Nationally Board-Certified (NBC-HWC) with the National Board of Health & Wellness Coaching. She is a CTI Certified Professional Co-Active® Coach and a graduate of the CTI Co-Active Leadership Program. She is also a certified Wellness Inventory facilitator and a Narrative Coach™ practitioner. She has been a member of the Real Balance Global Wellness Services, Inc. faculty since 2011 where she teaches the Health & Wellness Core Coach Certification, the Group Wellness Coaching program and Business Development for Wellness Coaches. She is also an ordained nondenominational minister.
She has experienced group work from both sides. As a participant she has explored the intrapersonal through experiential group process at places like Omega Institute, Esalen Institute, and Grof Transpersonal Training in Holotropic Breathwork™, with indigenous teachers in South America and through her spiritual practice. As a therapist she co-designed and led therapy groups for at-risk parents. As a coach she has been designing/co-designing and leading/co-leading in-person groups and multiday workshops since 2000 and virtual groups since 2010. Themes have included such topics as reclaiming life after cancer, living a truly fulfilling life, being in partnership with oneself, and personal wellness for coaches. As a facilitator she was co-founder of The Bridge, bringing the teaching and wisdom of indigenous peoples to school programs and organizations such as the NY Chapter of FIONS (Friends of Noetic Sciences). She was a co-facilitator of the Dream Change Coalition Gathering of Wisdom Keepers at Omega Institute, and co-facilitator for several women’s personal growth groups.
She brings a rich background to her coaching including 9 years of experience as a staff psychologist with the North Suffolk in Community Mental Health Center in Boston, Massachusetts where she worked collaboratively with the medical staff of the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center to design and deliver individual and group therapy to at risk populations, consult to community organizations, schools and medical providers. She was a guest lecturer at Boston College and Emerson College. She has 15 years of experience in the corporate world, primarily as a part of a team to create new businesses and new business technologies at Merrill Lynch, Security Pacific and Citigroup; and in the public sector as the Deputy Director of New Technology, Office of Management Design, NYC Human Resource Administration to bring emerging technologies to programs and departments including the office of architecture, emergency food assistance, shelter services, AIDS services and children services.
