Ethics Community of Practice - Exploring the Convergence of Ethics & Core Competencies
The ICF Ethics Community of Practice welcomes Jim Smith, PCC, to explore how the updated competency model and Code of Ethics inform and support each other in the service of coaching clients. Jim will share some discoveries on how the updated ICF Core Competencies educate and assist in a compatible fusion with the Code of Ethics. He will also lead a discussion on the ethical challenges that occur in coaching session recordings to demonstrate the new competency model in action. Attendees will walk away understanding how the recent updates to the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics have highlighted vital connections to our two critical foundational elements.
