What are the terms and conditions of registering for the series?
By registering for the 2020 Business Development Series, attendees agree to the terms and conditions listed here
Can I still register for the Business Development Series after the live sessions begin?
Yes. You can register for the OnDemand package of the series. Please note that registrants in the OnDemand version of the series cannot participate in the live webinars, the peer accountability group sessions, and some other additional bonus content exclusive to live attendees. However, they will receive recordings of the live webinar presentations.
I am registered, how do I access my receipt?
- Log into the ICF Learning Portal: http://learning.coachfederation.org/ Click Log In/Register at the top right corner of the page.
- Once you are logged in, click on your name on the top right corner. A dropdown will appear. Click on My Account
- Once you click on My Account you will be brought to a new page. On the new page click on Order History.
- Once you click on the Order History Tab you should see a list of transactions you made through the Learning Portal. It will give you the option to view your receipt.
- Once you click your receipt. The new page with your receipt will give you the option to print the receipt on the top left corner.
Continuing Coach Education Units
How much credit can I earn?
LIVE PACKAGE REGISTRANTS: You can earn Continuing Coach Education(CCE) Units in the area of Resource Development. Adding up the 90 minute Live webinars and 30 Minute OnDemand Videos, you can earn up to a total of 16.50 CCE Units in Resource Development. We will also have Microlearning (approximately 5 minutes/session) and Peer Accountability Group session opportunities in this series. You are welcome to add these up and place them on your self-study log for your renewal application.
ONDEMAND PACKAGE REGISTRANTS: You can earn Continuing Coach Education(CCE) Units in the area of Resource Development. Adding up the 90 minute recorded webinars and 30 Minute OnDemand Videos, you can earn up to a total of 16.50 CCE Units in Resource Development. We will also have Microlearning (approximately 5 minutes/session) opportunities in this series. You are welcome to add these up and place them on your self-study log for your renewal application.
Can I earn continuing coach education units by completing the series?
Participation in the series will yield Continuing Coach Education Units (CCE Units) in the area of Resource Development. You will earn and obtain these credits in the ICF Learning Portal.
How do I claim credit for the Live Sessions?* (*This Applies to Live Package Registrants Only)
Two codes will be given out
- The first half is given out at the beginning of the webinar
- The second half is given at the end of the webinar
Be sure to put the first and second half together without any spaces to create a full, 6-digit code. You need the entire code to unlock credit!
Input the code in the Redeem Attendance Code box, which can be found by clicking on the launch button of the blue live webinar box on the webinar page.
Once the claim credit box is unlocked you will be able to earn your CCE Unit which can be found on your Learning Portal user transcript
You must attend 90% or more of the webinar to earn credit

How do I claim credit for the OnDemand Sessions?
If you finished the video from start to finish then it should let you claim the credit.
If you had another window open while you watched then it will not let you claim credit.
If you tried to fast forward or pause the video it will not let you claim credit.
It has to be watched from beginning to end.
Internet connection can also factor into it as well.
How do I access my proof of continuing coach education units from the series?
You will earn, track, and obtain your credits through the ICF Learning Portal where the series is hosted. For detailed instructions on how to access your transcript, visit the ICF Learning Portal FAQ page: http://learning.coachfederation.org/professional-development/FAQs
I have not received a certificate via email? When will I receive my certificate?
We no longer send certificates via email. All credits claimed through the Learning Portal can be found on the Learning Portal user transcript once you have successfully launched the Claim Credit box and completed the steps that follow. My account still says incomplete. What needs to happen to resolve that issue?
We do not look at the incomplete or complete status. What is important is your credits clamed/earned. Be sure you have successfully launched and completed the claim credit box on the webinar page, and that there is a checkmark showing on it. My activities are not showing complete even though I attended, how can I have this fixed?
The attendance box has been replaced with a recording. Therefore for it to have a checkmark you will have to open the recording to receive your checkmark on the activity box.
Note: We do not look at the incomplete or complete status of Learning Activities. What is important is your credits claimed/earned. Be sure you have successfully launched and completed the claim credit box on the webinar page, and that there is a checkmark showing on it.
Access to the Series
Will the live sessions also be recorded? (For Live Package Registrants)
Registration will include access to all sessions. If you are unable to attend the live webinars, you will still receive a recording of the live webinars with your registration. However, the live peer accountability group sessions will not be recorded. The live webinar recordings will become available within 2 Business-days after they occur.
After I register, how can I access the 2020 Business Development Series?
All materials and sessions will be accessed through the ICF Learning portal learning.coachfederation.org. After you register for the series, you will log into the portal and find the 2020 Business Development Series in your learning activities.
When with the OnDemand Session be released?
The OnDemand Sessions will be released throughout 2020. New OnDemand content will be released on April 1, June 1, August 1, October 1 and December 1.
How do I get back to the Business Development Series Page?
- Log into your Learning Portal Account at http://learning.coachfederation.org
- Once you are logged in click on My Learning Activities
- Find the Business Development Series and click on it to be taken to the BDS page with all of the content
Can I download the recordings and watch without streaming from the internet?
No, the videos are not downloadable
I am trying to log into the live webinar session, but it is asking for access code? (For Live Package Registrants Only)
We do not have an access code to attend the live webinar. Above the code should be a launch webinar button. Click the launch webinar button and then you will be logged into the live webinar. During the webinar, an access code will be shared with you which will allow you to claim credit for your attendance.
Is there a deadline to complete the Business Development Series? For how long will I have access to it?
There is no deadline to complete the Business Development Series. It is online for you to go at your own pace. If you want to take advantage of the peer accountability groups we highly recommend that you follow the schedule listed on this page(insert link?). You will have access to the Learning Page indefinitely.
Can we choose our own Peer groups? (For Live Package Registrants Only)
The Peer Accountability Groups are completely random due to the application we are using.
I am unable to access the accountability group, how can I access it?
Be sure to check and make sure you are signing on at the correct time according to your location and time zone. Also, be sure to have the latest version of Zoom. If you are still unable to sing on please reach out to an ICF Team Member.
